The LeTourneau University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to host Hardin-Simmons on Friday afternoon in Abilene.

The Cowboys (5-1-2, 4-0 ASC), who lead the American Southwest Conference, ended a scoreless tie and got the game-winning goal in the 52
nd minute when Matt Pitcock went to the lower portion of the goal on a shot past the LETU goalkeeper.

The YellowJackets (3-9-1, 1-3-1 ASC) had four shots in the contest including a pair by sophomore

th minute, respectively to equalize were saved by HSU goalkeeper Sam Potter.

Miguel Cabrera faced 22 shots, including 10 on goal to record nine saves in the defeat. Pitcock had a team-high seven shots, followed by Kevin McNeal, who came off the bench to record five in the win for HSU.

LETU will continue their road trip Saturday afternoon at Howard Payne. Game time is 3 p.m. in Brownwood, Texas.
