The LeTourneau University volleyball team extended its winning streak with a pair of wins over Dallas Christian (25-8, 25-14, 25-14) and Jarvis Christian (25-22, 25-17, 25-18) on Saturday.
To start the day, in the win over Dallas Christian, sophomore
Dolores Kroese paced the hitting attack with nine kills as LETU hit a blistering .378. Sophomore
Alyssa Eden was a potent all-around threat with 14 assists, six kills and three service aces. Junior
Kayla Ronda had seven digs, six kills and two block assists for the YellowJackets.
Kroese followed that up in the nightcap with her sixth double double of the season with 12 kills and 16 digs for the YellowJackets against Jarvis Christian. LeTourneau continued to be successful in its swings at the net with a .229 hitting percentage. Freshman
Savanna Stutts had eight kills and four blocks; plus Ronda added seven kills and eight digs to the win.
With the two wins, LeTourneau raises its record to 10-18 as they head into their final home match on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. against Texas-Dallas. Prior to the match, LETU will honor senior
