The LeTourneau University men's basketball team dropped a 75-67 decision to host Hendrix on Friday evening in Conway, Arkansas.

Roozario Wiggins had a team-high 18 points and 10 rebounds for the YellowJackets for his first double double at LETU. Sophomore
Shaquille Reed and freshman
Sam Talbert each joined Wiggins in double figures with 14 points. Reed handed out five assists and had four steals, plus Talbert had seven rebounds for LETU.

The YellowJackets built an early 11-2 lead on the host Warriors until a 14-2 run put the home team ahead for the rest of the contest. In the run, the Warriors' Travis Garrett hit back-to-back 3 pointers and Luke Vance scored on a pair of layups.

The Warriors (2-1) were led by its strong presence that landed three players in double figures including Hank Aldous, who scored a game-high 22. He was joined in double digits by Alec Conrad (17 points and 13 rebounds) and Vance, who added 11.

Trailing 50-32 with 12:44, LeTourneau began to mount a comeback when Talbert hit a transition 3 pointer that saw the YellowJackets score 27 of the next 39 points to cut the deficit to 62-59 with 4:14 to play. In the spurt, junior
Chris Hynes had seven points for LETU. The Warriors withstood the comeback by the YellowJackets as they scored the next six points to end the comeback effort.

LeTourneau will return to action on Saturday, November 22 when they face Rhodes in a non-conference matchup in Memphis, Tennessee.
