Adam Schultz scored his third goal of the week in a 4-1 loss to Louisiana College in a non-conference tilt on Saturday in Longview.
LeTourneau (2-6) got on the board first when the Plano native stole the ball from the Wildcats' defender and fired a shot from 15 yards out that hit the post before rolling into the goal. Schultz, who had two goals earlier this week against Hendrix, led a LeTourneau attack with five of the 11 shots.
Louisiana College (4-3-1) answered the Schultz tally with four unanswered goals by four-different players. Caeser Romo equalized for the Wildcats in the 18
th minute when they scored the first of two goals on a corner kick.
The Wildcats went ahead for good, later in the half, when Pedro Silva scored on a shot outside the 18 yard box that hit off the far post and into the goal in the 38
th minute.
After building a 2-1 advantage, Louisiana College added a pair of goals in the second half for the final margin. Assisting on both goals was Matheus Carvalho, first it was a goal by Rodrigo Neves in the 77
th minute and Micah Taylor in the 86
th minute.

Miguel Cabrera had 10 saves in his 90 minutes between the posts. Louisiana College goalkeepers Nathan Gautreaux and Travis Alexander combined for five saves.
The two teams will have a rematch on Friday, Oct. 10 in Longview. Before then, LeTourneau will start American Southwest Conference play on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. against UT Dallas in Richardson.
