Dolores Kroese had her third double double of the season in a 25-15, 25-9, 23-25, 25-13 lost to UT-Dallas on Tuesday evening in Richardson.

The YellowJackets (6-11, 2-4 ASC) fell victim to a hot-hitting Comets' lineup that out hit LETU by a .254 to .031. Despite the loss, it was the sophomore from Twin Falls, Idaho who had a strong match for the visitors. Kroese led LETU with 10 kills and digs in the defeat. Seven of her 10 kills came in the third-set victory for LeTourneau.

The Comets (11-4, 5-2 ASC) was led by the tandem of Taylour Toso and Meredith Crawford, who had 13 and 11 kills, respectively. Toso also had a hand in four block assists, setter Kayla Jordan had 38 assists and Holyn Handley served a match-high three service aces. For Toso, she had six kills and all four block assists in the decisive fourth set.

Next, LeTourneau is home for its next five matches which starts with a 7 p.m. matchup on Friday, Oct. 3 against University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
