Four members of the LeTourneau University women's basketball team scored in double digits in a 98-77 loss to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday afternoon in Belton.

The YellowJackets (3-7, 1-4 ASC) scored a season-high 77 points and shot a season-best 48.5% from the field in the loss.
Rebecca Stewart led the YellowJackets with 18 points and five assists, plus
Ashley Reed (pictured)Â and
Te'Andra Richardson added 16 and 15 points, respectively. For Reed, she scored 14 of her 16 in the second half and Richardson was nearly perfect from the field with a 7-for-8 effort. The fourth in double figures was
Bria Goodman, who scored 11. The YellowJackets scored 24 points after forcing 20 UMHB turnovers.

The Cru (7-3, 3-2 ASC) had a pair of 25-point scorers – Taylor Tucker and Macy Moore. Plus, Bridjai Chaney came off the bench to score 16 in the win.

Moore hit her second 3 pointer of the game with 13:49 left in the first half to spark a 14-2 run that would keep the home team ahead for the rest of the contest. Six-different players contributed points to the run for UMHB. LeTourneau, in the second half, would trim the deficit to as little six – 74-68 on a 3-point play by Reed.

The YellowJackets are back in action on Monday evening when they travel to Austin to face Concordia at 5:30 p.m.
