The LeTourneau University volleyball team dropped a 25-16, 25-19, 25-20 decision to host Millsaps College on Saturday in Jackson, Mississippi.
The loss drops the YellowJackets to 6-14 on the season and the Majors move to .500 with a 9-9 mark. Millsaps out hit LETU .267 to .067 with a pair of players recording double-digit kills in the win. Shelby Marsh and Mary Wilson had 22 and 15 assists, respectively. Marsh also added three service aces; in addition, Ashley Zamjahn had 23 digs for the Majors in the win.
LeTourneau was led by sophomore
A.J. Campbell, who had 10 kills; plus sophomore
Nicole Mosley had her seventh double double of the season with 13 assists and 11 digs. Senior
Alli Bordelon added 17 more digs to her new all-time school record, plus freshman
Schuyler Wages had four service aces in the defeat.
The YellowJackets will return home to the rigors of the American Southwest Conference as they will travel to Marshall to face East Texas Baptist on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
