The LeTourneau University volleyball team dropped a 25-12, 25-20, 25-15 decision to host East Texas Baptist University on Tuesday in Marshall.

The YellowJackets (6-15, 0-6 ASC) were led by senior
Kayla Ronda, who had seven kills in the loss. Setters
Korissa White and
Nicole Mosley had seven and six assists; plus, senior
Alli Bordelon picked up eight digs in the defeat. Also for LETU, Ronda also had two service aces and junior
Dolores Kroese added four kills and seven digs.

The Tigers (17-3, 6-2 ASC) hit .263 with Mallory Sanders and Madison Riley each recording 12 kills to lead ETBU, who extend their winning streak to six. Setter Reighanna Guzman accounted for five of the 12 service aces; plus she had 17 assists in the win. Adaeze Elonu had six block solos as the Tigers accounted for eight total team blocks in the win.
Next, LeTourneau will travel to nearby Tyler for the ASC Crossover on Friday (Oct. 16) and Saturday (Oct. 17). On Friday, the YellowJackets will take on Sul Ross State at noon and face Howard Payne at 5 p.m., followed by a 12:30 p.m. matchup on Saturday against Concordia.Â
