LETU Volleyball Loses to ASC Leader, UT Dallas in Three

The LeTourneau University volleyball team dropped a 25-12, 25-16, 25-16 decision to host UT Dallas on Saturday in Richardson.
 
The YellowJackets (9-18, 2-9 ASC) were led by junior Dolores Kroese and sophomore Nicole Mosley. Kroese had six kills, three blocks and an ace, plus Mosley had her ninth double double of the season with an 11 assist, 12 dig effort in the loss.
 
The Comets (23-2, 10-0 ASC) were led by a .330 to .019 advantage in hitting percentage. Abbie Barth had a double double with 12 kills and 14 digs to go along with three blocks. Teammate Michelle Toro added 15 kills and Kayla Jordan had 46 assists on the 52 kills for UT Dallas, who clinched the ASC regular season title.
 
Next, LeTourneau closes out the season with a trip to the Centenary Tournament, where they will face Rust College and Dillard University on Friday, Oct. 30 at 4 and 8 p.m., respectively and Centenary and Robert Morris on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 4 and 6 p.m., respectively to close out the season.
