A quick 6-0 spurt to start the game was just enough to spark Texas Lutheran, who led from start to finish, as the Bulldogs defeated LeTourneau University, 82-71, in men's basketball action on Friday in Seguin.
LeTourneau (1-3) had three in double figures including freshman
Caleb Loggins (pictured), who had a team-high 16. He was joined by junior

Alec Colhoff had a team-high seven boards.
Texas Lutheran (4-1) also had three double figures in the win including a double double performance by Sterling Holmes, who had a game-high 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs.
The YellowJackets found themselves behind as much as 24 but they were resilient. Late in the second half, LETU had a spurt that brought them within eight, 79-71, with 1:08 to go.
