A 3-point play by Kristen Lye put Texas Lutheran ahead with 2:33 to go and for the rest of the contest to seal a 62-59 win over the LeTourneau University women's basketball team on Friday night in Seguin.

LeTourneau (1-3) trailed by as much as 14 before taking its first lead of the game – 55-53 with 3:16 to play when senior Ashley Stephens made a layup. To take the lead, the YellowJackets went on a 13-0 run.
 
Texas Lutheran (2-2) sealed the win, making its last five free throws over the final 2:33. The Bulldogs picked up a game-high 17 from Lye and Savannah Hight added 15.
 
The YellowJackets top scorer was junior Bria Goodman, who scored 11 and junior Crystal Jones was in double digits for the fourth-straight game with 10 points.
 
LETU will face Schreiner on Saturday at Nov. 27 at noon in its final game of the TLU Thanksgiving Classic.
