LeTourneau Men Fall to Cowboys in Late Season Showdown

Hardin-Simmons would score a goal in each half to take the 2-0 victory over the YellowJackets on Friday night at the Joyce Family Athletic Village.
 
LETU had six shots on goal and HSU put seven shots on goal during the match. Junior Brian Howell recorded five saves for the YellowJackets.
 
Juniors Attikus Martinez and Israel Madrid were crucial in the midfield setting up the LeTourneau attack.
 
Junior Noah Peters and senior Hunter Swift each had spectacular chances midway through the second half. Peters had a volley deflected just wide by the Cowboy goalkeeper earning a corner for the YellowJackets. Swift moved up from his defensive position and got his head on the corner that required a diving save by the HSU keeper.
 
LeTourneau will celebrate senior night on Saturday at 7:30 PM in their matchup with McMurry University at the Joyce Family Athletic Village. Michael Abu-Saada, Jake Alldredge, Patrick Barba III, Antonio Fernandez, Raul Saldana, and Hunter Swift will be playing in their final home game for the YellowJackets.
