LeTourneau University men's soccer fell to Belhaven University 4-0 on Thursday night in Jackson, Mississippi.
The YellowJackets (4-5-2, 1-2 ASC) were squaring off with the Blazers in the first ever soccer action in newly opened Belhaven Bowl Stadium. The energy in the stadium helped Belhaven jump out to a quick start.
A goal from Tom Aston put Belhaven up 1-0 in just the third minute of the game. The Blazers would add two more in the first half to go up 3-0 at the break.
A penalty kick in the second half would give Belhaven their fourth and final goal in the 77
th minute.
The YellowJackets were outshot 11 to 8 in the game with freshman
Justin Rojas leading the offense with four shots and one shot on goal.
The LeTourneau men will look to bounce back tomorrow night in Pineville, Louisiana when they take on Louisiana College at 7:30 PM.
