Hardin-Simmons used two comeback victories to sweep Friday's ASC doubleheader at the Joyce Family Athletic Village.
LeTourneau held a one-run lead until the top of the seventh inning in game one. The Cowgirls would score five runs to surge past the YellowJackets for a series opening 5-1 win.

Faith Genoway slips to 7-8 on the season giving up four earned runs on seven hits. The sophomore pitcher struck out seven and forced seven ground outs in her complete game seven-inning effort.
LETU (12-21, 7-19 ASC) took another early lead in game two but would give up the lead in the sixth inning and fall 4-3 to HSU.

Macey Mize kick started the LeTourneau offense with a double to left center field to score Matulis and Judd and a 2-0 lead. After the Cowgirls surged back and took a 3-2 lead, Junior
Ashlin Roach blasted a shot over the fence for her fourth homerun of the season. The Hughes Springs native now has 24 RBIs to lead the YellowJackets.
Julie Cantu falls to 0-3 in the circle despite forcing 13 groundouts in her six innings. Cantu struck out one but gave up four runs on six hits.
The series finale on Saturday will also be Senior Day as the LETU softball team recognizes three young women playing in their final game at the Joyce Family Athletic Village. First pitch of the series finale is set for 1 p.m.
