LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau men's soccer suffer 2-0 setback against UT Dallas Thursday at the Joyce Family Athletic Village.
With four fixtures left in the campaign, the Yellowjackets are seventh in the American Southwest Conference table with a 2-4-0 mark and 6-7-0 overall. The Comets upped their season record to 8-3-3 and sit fourth in the league at 4-1-2.
For nearly an hour, LeTourneau's
Jack Carpenter and UT Dallas' Trey Nickel kept the fixture scoreless, before Brandon Buchanan gave the Comets a lead. Buchanan beat his defender and slid the ball past a diving Carpenter at 55:59.
Riley O'Donnell sealed the resulted with an unassisted tally with seven minutes remaining in regulation.
