RICHARDSON, Texas – LeTourneau University's women's golf team was picked to finish seventh in the American Southwest Conference preseason poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
The YellowJackets received 31 points in the nine-team league. Mary Hardin-Baylor was picked to win the ASC Championship after receiving five first place votes and 73 points. The University of Texas at Dallas was picked second with three first place votes and 66 points. East Texas Baptist was third with 52 points. The University of California Santa Cruz, which competes in the ASC in women's golf, collected the remaining first place vote, and was slotted sixth with 45 points.
LeTourneau had two runner-up finishes in last season's shortened season. The YellowJackets finished seventh in the 2019 ASC Championship. UMHB won the 2019 league title, while Concordia Texas was second. Concordia Texas was picked to finish fifth this year behind Hardin-Simmons.

The YellowJackets will open the season Feb. 24 at the Tyler Junior College Spring Intercollegiate in Bullard, Texas.
