RICHARDSON, Texas – LeTourneau University men's soccer team fell for the second time in four days to the University of Texas at Dallas, losing 3-0 Saturday night.
Early season postponements moved the original game between the two teams to Wednesday, when the Comets visited LETU.
LeTourneau evened its overall record at 4-4-0, while falling to 1-3-0 in the American Southwest Conference. UT Dallas improved to 3-0-0 overall, and 3-0-0 in the ASC.
The Comets scored all three of their goals in the first half. Jardel Kuate found the back of the net 15:29 into the game on a setup from Arturo Ponce. Jovi Munoz scored an unassisted goal 1:26 later to make it 2-0. Munoz scored again off a penalty kick at the 18:32 mark.

Chancey Davis sent a shot on goal in the 32
nd minute, but Comets goalkeeper John Nicknish made the save. In the 36
th minute, Nicknish stopped
Emad Mohamed's shot to the bottom right side, thwarting the YellowJackets' final scoring chance.
UT Dallas outshot LeTourneau, 26-3, with a 10-2 differential on goal. The Comets attempted 13 shots in each half. The Jackets did not record a shot in the second half.
LETU starting keeper
CJ Leyva made two saves before giving way to
Kolton Johnson. Johnson had four saves in just over 73 minutes.
The YellowJackets will host Ozarks at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the penultimate home game of the season.
