LETU Falls to Ozarks, 2-0

LONGVIEW – LeTourneau University men's soccer team lost to the University of the Ozarks, 2-0, Thursday night.
 
Drew Mott scored in the 22nd minute, and Daniel Lyon added another goal a couple minutes into the second half in a game Ozarks (4-3-0, 3-1-0 American Southwest Conference) controlled throughout.
 
The Eagles outshot the YellowJackets, 12-5, with a 5-1 advantage on goal.
 
LeTourneau goalkeeper CJ Leyva made three saves. Ozarks keeper Logan Valestin stopped one shot.
 
Eric Smith attempted LETU's only shot on goal in the 57th minute.
 
The YelowJackets will host Belhaven 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the final home game.
