ALEXANDRIA, La. -- Reed Geese shot 1-over, 73, and led the No. 11-ranked LeTourneau men's golf team to a third-place finish at this week's ASC Preview at Oak Wing Golf Club.
The YellowJackets were able to score a 300 for day two and finish with a 595 overall. The score of the par-72 course puts the Jackets in third place just ten strokes off the winning Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Geese finished the day in a tie for third individually and moved up the leaderboard six places. Geese put together a couple of birdies to keep him at a 73 for day two to match his day one score where he took a different route to also score a 73 on the 6,943-yard course.
Wes Nolen, playing as an individual, was able to place within the top five, tying for fifth after he scored a 75 on day two. He finished the round with his first birdie on hole nine, a 567-yard par 5, to keep him in that tie for fifth.
Kaiden Schneider placed in the top ten in a three-way tie for it. Schneider recorded a couple of birdies, finishing day two with a 78 just 6-over par.
Corbin Barton scored a 74 on day two making for 151 over the two-day tournament.
Dalton Northcutt put down a 77 adds up to a 152 one stroke behind teammate Barton.
Bryson Thurston scored a 77 to make a 153 overall. Rounding out the LeTourneau golfers, Zachary Bollinger finished with a 76 to bring him up to 156 for the week.

LeTourneau will wrap up the fall season traveling to Thackerville, Oklahoma where they will take part in the two-day Crusader Invitational this upcoming Monday October 23rd.
