Men's Golf, Four Student-Athletes Garner Academic Honors from GCAA

NORMAN, Okla. -- The LeTourneau men's golf team and four golfers earned academic recognition from the GCAA for the 2025-26 season, announced the organziation recently.

LeTourneau earned the PLATFORM Team Academic Award, while golfers Daniel Arcocha, Dylan Bradley, Kaiden Schneider, and Noah Summers were all honored with Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar accolades.

Schneider earned honors for a third straight year, while Summers earned his second career selection. It was a first for both Arcocha and Bradley. LeTourneau has put 13 honorees to the GCAA/Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar program in the last three seasons.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

As a team, LeTourneau earned its third academic honor since the 2022-23 season. Under head coach J. Paul Leslie III, the YellowJackets had 11 named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and Schneider earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District list. 

During the 2025-26 season, LeTourneau won its second conference title in three seasons with a SCAC championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships for a fourth straight year.
