SHREVEPORT La. -- LeTourneau played Centenary to a 1-1 draw on Sunday night.
The YellowJackets (2-2-2) and The Gents (1-3-3) went 90 minutes and were unable to find a victor in an action packed matched full of opportunities.
Centenary opened up the scoring in the first half when Jaron Petreas was able to put one in the back of the net in the 36th minute, assist was awarded to Quentin Helm. The Jackets went into the half down by one while also being called for 10 fouls in just the first half.
LeTourneau was able to answer the Gents in the 58th minute when
Juan Angel Morales' shot was blocked and
Syed Zain was able to pick it up and put it past Centenary keeper, Sami Borchalli. This was the final score to tie the game at one a piece
There was a total of 32 shots on the evening with the YellowJackets holding the edge 18-14 in a very even spread six of them were on fram for the Jackets compared to the Gents' five. Goalkeeper
Kolton Johnson played all 90 minutes for the Jackets recording five saves, while Sami Borchalli also went all 90 recording 6 saves.
