CONWAY. Ark.-- The LeTourneau women's basketball fell at Hendrix on Sunday afternoon, losing 53-39.
LeTourneau (2-3) held with Hendrix through the first 3 quarters of play but Hendrix (1-2) pulled away in the fourth to seal the game.
Haylee Jordan was a point shy of a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds. Kylie Weeks led the YellowJackets in scoring with 12 points. Ganae Gaines marked four assists.
The YellowJackets found themselves in foul trouble early as Jordan marked her fourth foul in the third quarter along with LaTerra Satcher.
After the first quarter was through, LeTourneau finished the game shooting 29.3% from the field. Hendrix shot 28.8% through all four quarters.
LeTourneau gave up 19 points from turnovers but took advantage of 12 second-chance points.
The Warriors did not have a single double-digit scorer as the points were spread among nine total players. Bella Cates and Simone Shields did reach nine points.

LeTourneau will come home to face Dallas on Wednesday with tip-off set for 1 p.m.
