MARSHALL, Texas -- The LeTourneau women's basketball team could not overcome a hot-shooting East Texas Baptist in a 78-53 loss in ASC action on Thursday night.
Haylee Jordan notched her seventh double-double of the year with 17 points and 11 rebounds to go with four blocks to lead LeTourneau (3-8, 1-4 ASC).

ETBU (3-8, 2-3 ASC) shot 62 percent from the field in the first quarter and opened up a double-digit lead (23-13) in the period. The margin stretched to 18 at the half and LeTourneau would not be able to get it closer than that the rest of the way.
LeTourneau was limited to 27.6 percent (16-of-58) from the field, but connected on 18-of-23 at the line led by Jordan's 5-for-6 effort.
