ABILENE, Texas -- A 10-2 run midway through the fourth quarter got the LeTourneau women's basketball team within four, but the visiting YellowJackets were defeated at McMurry, 75-63, in ASC play on Thursday night inside Kimbrell Arena.

LeTourneau (5-12, 2-7 ASC) trailed for the majority of the contest, but sliced into the margin multiple times before McMurry (12-5, 7-2 ASC) pulled away for the home win and the regular season sweep.

Haylee Jordan registered her ASC-leading 11th double-double of the season as she tallied 20 points and 13 rebounds to go with two blocks and two steals. Bailey Broughton added 15 points with three assists, while Allie Buchanan played a season-high 35 minutes and totaled nine points, four rebounds, and four assists.

The YellowJackets trailed 60-48 with over seven minutes left in the fourth. Two made free throws from Jordan kicked off a 10-2 spurt that got LeTourneau within 62-58 with 4:53 remaining after Jordan delivered a jumper. Jordan had eight points during the stretch to get the YellowJackets withing striking distance.

McMurry extended the margin back to 10 (70-60) after an Helena Chadwick 3-pointer with two minutes left and held on for the victory.

LeTourneau trailed 37-28 at the half before slicing into that deficit early in the third. Jordan's offensive rebound and putback with 7:26 left in the third made it 39-34 before McMurry again stretched its lead back to double-figures later in the period.

Ganae Gaines added seven points and two rebounds for LeTourneau and Kylie Weeks had three steals. The YellowJackets connected on 40.7 percent (22-of-54) for the game with six 3-pointers and made 13-of-18 at the line.

McMurry was led by 21 points from Aryana Cleveland and 14 points from Emily Holland. Cleveland tallied 10 rebounds for a double-double as the War Hawks had a 37-27 rebound edge. McMurry shot 39.7 percent (23-of-58) from the field and was 22-of-28 at the free throw line.
