CLINTON, Miss. -- The LeTourneau women's cross country team, led by
Felice Mullinax, placed 14th out of 23 teams at the Watson XC Classic, hosted by Mississippi College on Friday.
LeTourneau was 14th with a season-best 6k average time of 25:37.
The YellowJackets were paced by
Felice Mullinax as she finished the 6k course in a time of 24:41.2 to finish 44th out of 178 runners in the meet. The time was 60 seconds faster than Mullinax's previous best 6k time this season.
All six LeTourneau runners ran season-best times in the 6k distance.
Annabelle Nixon (25:08.3) and
Hope Greenwald (25:10.8) finished 57th and 58th, respectively, as both ran their top 6k times this year.Â
Madelyn DeLosSantos came in at 26:01.5 to set a personal record in the distance and finish 86th overall.
Alayna Galloway also produced a personal record time with her mark of 27:06.6.
Peyton Chaney rounded out the YellowJacket runners with her top season time of 27:39.7.
McMurry won the meet as a team and Texas A&M-Commerce's Anete Randma was the individual winner at 22:23.7.
UP NEXT
LeTourneau will compete at the ASC Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Marshall, Texas.
