LONGVIEW, Texas -- The LeTourneau men's soccer team took on their rival East Texas Baptist on Saturday evening inside the Joyce Family Athletic Village. LeTourneau took on their rival in front of a packed stadium as it was homecoming at LeTourneau.
It did not take long for the scoring to start as the visiting Tigers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, with a goal off the foot of Dylan Garcia in the 4th minute. But the Tigers lead would be short lived as the YellowJackets came storming back to tie the game with an incredible goal scored by
Caleb Nelson. Nelson fired a rocket from his right foot after receiving a pin point cross from
Bridger Roberdeau. This was the fourth career assist for Roberdeau, and the seventh career goal for Nelson.

Defenses would continue you to dominate as going into the final five minutes of the match. Breaking the tie in the final minutes was
Garrett Thom scoring his second goal of the season, and the seventh of his career. Thom was assisted from a free kick, by
Diego Enriquez who tallied his fourth career assist, and his second this season.
East Texas Baptist (6-4-1, 1-1-1 ASC) answered quickly as they tied the game in the 90th minute off of a free kick goal off the foot of Joel Garcia.
