LONGVIEW, Texas -- The LeTourneau men's soccer team fell on Senior Day to Mary Hardin-Baylor by a score of 4-1. This Saturday evening match-up inside the Joyce Family Athletic Village marked the end of regular season play for both squads.Â
LeTourneau honored eight seniors tonight:
Nate Bransford,
Chino Rojas,
Juan Angel Morales,
Bridger Roberdeau,
Garrett Thom,
Jordan Beltran,
Syed Zain, and
Emad Mohamed, all of whom LeTourneau would like to recognize for their years of dedication and contributions to the program.Â
LeTourneau ends their regular season with a record of 4-8-5Â (1-4-3 ASC), while Mary Hardin-Baylor improves to 10-6-2 (7-0-1 ASC).Â
Carson Gamble made his first career start for the YellowJackets, recording six saves in his 75 minutes of action.Â
Octavio Jacquez tallied 15 minutes between the posts, closing out the match for the YellowJackets.Â
The visiting Cru had a different source for each of their goals with Sawyer Young (23'), Zach Paclibar (45'), Xjavier Martinez (61'), and Mason Munoz (89') finding the back of the net.Â
Jonas Coyle fired in his first career goal for the YellowJackets after making a crisp cut to break open. As he made his cut, he immediately received a beautiful cross from
Patrick Bauer, who notched his first career assist.Â
