Four Women's Soccer Players Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

LONGVIEW, Texas -- LeTourneau women's soccer senior defender Clarissa Martinez, junior forwards Chanel Kemball-Cook and Natalie Alvarado, along with sophomore forward Sarah Wyatt were named CSC Academic All-District honorees, announced the organization recently.

CSC, formerly known as CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Martinez, a senior from Richwood, Texas, earns her second career Academic All-District award. Martinez was once again a stalwart defensively for the YellowJackets, playing every minute of every match this season, while earning an SCAC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 2) and an All-SCAC honorable mention honor. Her defense helped LeTourneau break the program records for most consecutive shutout minutes (535) and most shutouts in a campaign (8).

Majoring in biomedical sciences, Martinez has been an ASC Academic All-Conference honoree on two occasions.

Kemball-Cook, a junior from Prosper, Texas, notches the second All-District award of her career. Kemball-Cook had another impressive campaign for LeTourneau in 2025, scoring an SCAC-best nine goals while dishing out four assists. She was also second in the conference in points (22) and shots taken (51), helping her earn an SCAC Offensive Player of the Week (Sep. 15) and All-SCAC second team honors this season. Her 26 career goals rank sixth in program history.

Majoring in aviation management - professional pilot, Kemball-Cook was an ASC Academic All-Conference student on two previous occasions.

Alvarado, a junior from Corona, Calif., collects her first Academic All-District award. A key offensive reserve, Alvarado played in all 17 matches this season, racking up 392 minutes, and scored her first career goal in LeTourneau's season opener against Central Baptist.

Majoring in engineering physics, Alvarado has been named to the ASC Academic All-Conference team twice.

A sophomore from Van Alstyne, Texas, Wyatt also earns her first Academic All-District honor. Wyatt continued her ascent as one of the talented young pieces on the roster in 2025, notching the second All-Conference award of her career after a three-goal, three-assist campaign. She started all 17 matches on the year, and her two-goal effort against Centenary (Oct. 10) helped the YellowJackets get a 3-0 win.

Majoring in pre-nursing, Wyatt was an ASC Academic All-Conference honoree last season.

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-America® program, students must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a significant contributor to the team (having started in 66 percent of the team's games or played in over 90 percent of those games), and be at least a sophomore academically.
