MEN'S PREVIEW
Men's cross country earned top-six finishes in three of their four regular season races in 2026.
The only race they didn't? The 44-team field of Dallas Baptist's Old Glory Gallop, where LeTourneau saw 10 runners reach personal bests.Â
Grayson Gaddis has paced the YellowJackets all year long, collecting a pair of top-15 finishes while smashing his personal best at the Old Glory Gallop (25:49.0).
Right behind Gaddis is
Mikey McCart, who – as a freshman – has placed second on the squad at every one of LeTourneau's races this year. McCart earned a top-20 finish to open his collegiate career at the Belhaven Invitational.
Ethan Hoglund and
Ryan Tally have also produced top-20 finishes for the YellowJackets this season, both of which were at the Lois David Invitational.
Men's cross country placed sixth at the SCAC Championships a year ago.Â
WOMEN'S PREVIEW
Women's cross country has tallied a pair of top-five finishes on the campaign: The UT Tyler Invitational and the Lois Davis Invitational.Â
Sophie Pyle has been the frontrunner for the Jackets this season, finishing first on the team in all four races, earning a season-high placement of 17th at the Lois Davis Invitational.
Pyle has been followed closely by
Peyton Chaney, who heads into the SCAC Championships off back-to-back personal records at the Chile Pepper Festival and the Old Glory Gallop.Â
Rivkah Schmickle (21:29.2) and
Klaire Belzung (24:06.3) also enter the conference meet on a high from their personal bests at the Old Glory Gallop.
Although all of LeTourneau's regular season races were a 5k, the SCAC Championships will be a 6k race for the women.
With a combined 15 personal records coming in the regular season finale, both teams look to stake a claim at their second SCAC Championships.
