MAGNOLIA, Ark. -- The LeTourneau men's cross country team was back in action on Friday night and finished second at the Lois Davis Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas.
LeTourneau accumulated 76 points and finished ahead of the Division II host Southern Arkansas. Ouachita Baptist had each of the top five finishers to claim the team title.
Grayson Gaddis paced the YellowJackets for a second straight week as he placed 13th -- out of 75 runners -- with an 8k time of 27:41.5.
Ethan Hoglund was the second YellowJacket to cross the finish line as he came in 17th overall and achieved a season-best mark of 28:14.9.
Ryan Tally was right behind Hoglund as he came in 18th with an 8k time of 28:19.4.
Sam Trosen improved on his season-best time as he finished in 28:37.0 to place 22nd.
Alexander Hoksbergen rounded out the top five finishers for LeTourneau with his 27th-place finish and 29:16.3 time.
Mikey McCart (29:18.3) and
Jack McCarty (29:50.3) were the next two LeTourneau runners to finish.
Ouachita Baptist's Caleb Greenwich was the individual winner with his 8k time of 26:03.9.
UP NEXT
LeTourneau returns to the course on Oct. 3 at the Chile Pepper Festival, hosted by the University of Arkansas.
