LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- LeTourneau softball senior
Rylie Shipp garnered NFCA All-Region X honors at second base, announced the association on Thursday.
Shipp collected third team All-Region at second base and is the first YellowJacket to receive All-Region honors since 2017 (Courtney Matulis).
The awards honor student-athletes from the association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
Shipp, a senior from Missouri City, Texas, posted a career year in 2026 and was named All-SCAC second team earlier this month for her efforts.
Shipp hit for a career-best average of .429, ranking 10th in the conference. Her 57 hits not only ranked third in the league but set a program record for hits in a single season. Shipp had 19 multi-hit games -- including six three-hit games -- and had 22 RBIs on the year. Shipp's .429 average this season ranks third in the program's all-time ranks, and her .358 career average is fourth in program history.
Shipp graduated with her degree in kinesiology earlier this month.
Shipp was one of seven YellowJackets named to All-SCAC teamsÂ
