Box Score

Longview, Texas-LeTourneau University came into Saturday afternoon's game against Mississippi College looking for a little momentum after a tough loss the night before.  However, the YellowJackets came up short against the Choctaws by a final score of 3-0.

All 3 MC goals were scored in the first half, and all in the first 25 minutes of regulation.  Jamie Aguillen played the first half in goal for LeTourneau, and Nicole Kemper came in at halftime and kept the Choctaws out of the net, garnering 8 saves.   Mississippi College outshot LeTourneau in the game 28-1.

Coach David Plunk said after the game: We played smarter in the second half and rad the game quicker defensively.  MC has a good team with may experienced players.  Our team did well in clearing dangerous passes.  We hope to return a couple of players recovering form injury."

LeTourneau plays next against Howard-Payne on Friday, the 19th in Brownwood.
