LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau women's soccer got on the board first, but fell 3-1 to Millsaps College Saturday afternoon at LETU Soccer Field.

The YellowJackets struck early, as Kaitlyn Conway took a pass from Liz Bowman and found the back of the net to give LETU a 1-0 advantage in the sixth minute.

LeTourneau (0-2) carried the lead into the half and into the 62nd minute, when Millsaps evened the score on a goal by Grace Gremillion, assisted by Kaleigh Redhead.

Nineteen seconds later, Taylor Winslow gave Millsaps the lead at 2-1 with her first of two goals on the game.

Winslow would follow with a goal in the 75th minute, assisted by Jamie Blair Page, to provide the final margin.

Millsaps finished with 17 shots (nine on goal), while LeTourneau had nine shots (four on goal).

Nicole Kemper played 45 minutes in goal for LeTourneau, shutting Millsaps out in the first half.

LeTourneau will be back in action Tuesday at home against the University of Dallas. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. CT.
