ROUND ROCK, Texas -- LeTourneau women's soccer had eight players collect nine All-SCAC honors, announced the league prior to the YellowJackets 2:30 p.m. quarterfinal match on Thursday.
Chanel Kemball-Cook and
Jaye Dugan both earned first team All-SCACÂ nods,
Kennedy Gortney and
Sierra Kemball-Cook were named to the second team, while
Sarah Wyatt,
Kinsey Fulks,
Lana Whiteman, and
Presley McIrvin were named honorable mentions.
Sierra Kemball-Cook was also named to the leagues freshman team.
All-SCAC teams were voted on exclusively by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
Chanel Kemball-Cook, a senior from Prosper, Texas, earns her third career all-conference selection. Tying for the league lead in goals with 15, Kemball-Cook has cemented her name in LeTourneau's record books this year. Her 15 goals are the third-most in program history, as are her 36 points this season, while her six assists tie for third. The senior has also tied the program's single-season record of goals per match with 1.00, and game-winning goals with five.
In SCAC play, Kemball-Cook racked up four goals (second) and three assists (tied for third) for a total of 11 points (tied for second), and earned two SCAC Offensive Player of the Week selections. This season has pushed Kemball-Cook's career marks into the top three in nearly every statistical category: goals with 41, assists with 14, points with 96, game-winning goals with eight, and shots with 216. Kemball-Cook also received four votes for SCAC Player of the Year.
Dugan, a junior from Corpus Christi, Texas, collects her first career all-conference nod. A mainstay on the back line, Dugan played every minute of league play before an injury sidelined her for the final two games of the season. Tallying 981 minutes on the year, Dugan contributed to five shutouts this season and was pivotal during LeTourneau's program-record six straight wins and five straight shutouts. Dugan collected a vote for SCAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Gortney, a sophomore from Alvarado, Texas, was an impressive addition to the midfield in 2026. Tallying two goals and five assists on the year, Gortney played box-to-box for the YellowJackets, bringing substantial play on both ends. Against Millsaps (Sep. 12), Gortney notched her first career goal, and dished out an assist.
Sierra Kemball-Cook, a freshman from Prosper, Texas, made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season. Kemball-Cook was second on the team in goals (5) and assists (5), placing her sixth in the SCAC with 15 points, second amongst first-year players. In conference play, Kemball-Cook totaled a pair of goals and assists, including the eventual game-winner against Ozarks. Kemball-Cook earned a pair of votes for SCAC First-Year Player of the Year.
Wyatt, a junior from Van Alstyne, Texas, collected her third straight all-conference selection. Netting three goals and five assists this season, Wyatt's electric speed created countless opportunities in the offensive third. Wyatt notched a pair of goals and an assist in SCAC play, including a goal and assist against Centenary (Oct. 25).Â
Fulks, sophomore from Frisco, Texas, earned her second straight SCAC honorable mention award. Logging over 1,135 minutes between the pipes, Fulks collected a pair of solo shutouts on the year, and combined for three more. The netminder logged a career-high 15 saves against Texas Lutheran, and posted eight matches with five or more saves. Fulks was third in the league in both save percentage (0.816) and goals-against average (1.23). The sophomore's goals-against average is the third-best in program history, while her 1.23 career average is second-best in program history.
Whiteman, a sophomore from Benton, La., also collected her second SCAC honorable mention selection. A stronghold in the defensive midfield, Whiteman's one-goal and two-assist season total doesn't tell the whole story. Playing end-to-end, Whiteman earned an assist against Centenary, and her five shots on goal against Austin College applied the necessary pressure to push LeTourneau to the No. 3 seed in the SCAC Tournament.
McIrvin, a freshman from Bakersfield, Calif., rounds out the YellowJackets honorable mentions. Logging over 1,000 minutes at center back, McIrvin shined in her first collegiate season. Stifling numerous teams on the defensive end, McIrvin even made an impact on set pieces, scoring her first collegiate goal on a corner via header against Concordia Texas.Â
