YellowJackets Women's Soccer Loses to No. 11 Hardin-Simmons, 14-0

The LeTourneau University women's soccer lost to No. 11 Hardin-Simmons University, 14-0 on Saturday afternoon in Longview.

The Cowgirls quickly built a three-goal advantage in the opening seven minutes en route to a six-goal first half lead. They stretched the lead with eight goals in the final 45 minutes.

Hardin-Simmons (12-1, 8-0 ASC) was led by the four-goal game of Julianne Kucera, teammate McKenna Mangold scored twice and assisted on another; plus, Hannah Perkins also scored twice to lead the Cowgirls.

LeTourneau (1-15, 0-7 ASC) got a shot from Raylene Gould and Jamie Malinaric in the loss. Goalkeeper Jamie Aguillen had 14 saves in the loss.

The YellowJackets close out the regular season with three road contests, starting with a contest at Concordia (Texas) in Austin on Friday, October 25th at 1 p.m.
