Junior Anna Winter then came to the plate in a pinch hitting situation and drove the tying run home. The Jackets couldn't add anymore, but kept the 'Roos off the scoreboard as the game moved into extra innings.

Glover led the eighth off by reaching on an error followed by a single from Hill. Winter came to the plate again and laced a single to right to score the go-ahead run and take a 4-3 lead.

The Jackets weren't done there as Glover doubled to left to score Borders and then ended up scoring on a throwing error from the outfield to extend the lead to 4-0.

After Austin College responded with a run in the bottom half of the first, the Jackets got two more as Tuel scored on an error and Glover drove in her second run of the game to go up 6-1.

Glover added a RBI double in the fourth while junior Sara Whitehead and Winter drove in runs of their own to lead the Jackets to the 10-4 win.

Junior Taylor Thibodeaux got the start and picked up her eighth win of the season while getting two strikeouts. Freshman Karen Kubacak saw some action in relief while junior Kaylee Pritchett finished the game, pitching the final 3.1 innings to close things out.
