Box Score The LeTourneau University women's soccer team lost to host Rhodes College on Saturday morning, 11-0 in Memphis.
The YellowJackets (1-7) recorded three shots in the defeat; plus, goalkeeper
Jamie Aguillen made four saves between the posts for LeTourneau.
"Unfortunately, we did not play to our potential," said LETU head coach Jamie Lindvall. "You have to give the full credit to Rhodes for bringing a great level. We just didn't compete at the level we are capable of today. Our motto as a team is 'know your job, do your job.' We didn't do our job, today."
Rhodes (6-1) went ahead with five first half goals and adding six more in the second half for the win. In the win, Lynx midfielder Hannah Selner scored twice and assisted on another to lead the attack. Goalkeepers Allison Cowling and Chandler Kuhlman each made a save to keep LETU off the scoreboard.
It will be a quick turnaround for LeTourneau, who will take on Millsaps on Sunday at noon in its final game of the Rhodes Classic.
