Box Score Despite a limited LeTourneau University women's soccer roster, the host Yellow Jackets dropped a 7-0 decision to Texas Lutheran University on Friday afternoon at the LeTourneau Soccer Field.

The Yellow Jackets (0-4) played the whole contest with a reduced roster compared to the 30-person roster of the visitors from Seguin.  Despite the number discrepancy, it was a valiant effort for the home team.

LeTourneau head coach Jamie Lindvall was pleased with the effort exhibited by his squad. "They continue to impress and show remarkable spirit and commitment to each other. I thought our drive and determination were outstanding today," said the first-year head coach.

A balanced attack for Texas Lutheran saw five different players score a goal including Sioned Kirkpatrick and Maegan Idrogo, who each scored twice to lead the Bulldogs to their first victory of the 2013 season. The win improves TLU to a 1-2 mark on the season.

Next, LeTourneau will host the Warriors of Hendrix College on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the LeTourneau Soccer Field.
