1.8 seconds away from the end of regulation was the difference between a win and a tie for the LeTourneau University men's soccer team on Saturday night.

LeTourneau (4-10-2, 2-4-2 ASC) scored in the eighth minute on a goal by senior
Danny Canaviri. The Santa Cruz, Bolivia native found the back of the net for his second career and first goal of the season when he headed the ball in the back of the net from six yards after a sensational crossing pass from junior
Mario Lopez.

Concordia (5-7-3, 0-4-3 ASC) rallied to equalize with 1.8 seconds remaining as Adrian Sanchez ran through unmarked after a crossing pass from Marshal Tucker to tie the contest. The Tornados out shot LeTourneau, 18-10 in the tie.

Both teams had opportunities in overtime to come away with the win. In the first overtime, Matthew Butler of Concordia had a shot in the 93
rd minute hit the post and two more opportunities were scooped up LETU sophomore goalkeeper
Miguel Cabrera. The Longview native finished the night with nine saves in 110 minutes of action.

Hunter Swift had two opportunities and Canaviri had a chance in the second overtime. In the 108
th minute, Swift on a free kick had an attempt that was deflected by CTX goalkeeper Kyle Duncan. The YellowJackets had two corner kick chances in the final minute. In the 109
th minute, Swift had his second opportunity which sailed wide.

LeTourneau will close out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 1 in a 6 p.m. match on Senior Day when they host UT Tyler. Prior to the match, the YellowJackets will honor its seniors –
