Box Score 2 The LeTourneau University softball dropped a doubleheader to No. 6 East Texas Baptist, 5-1 and 12-0 on Friday in Marshall.
In the two wins, East Texas Baptist had seven hits in each of the contests to raise their record to 16-1 overall and 13-1 in the American Southwest Conference. With the two losses, LeTourneau falls to 8-9 overall and 5-9 in the ASC.

Jourdan Glover had two hits in the first game including her third home run of the season. The Fort Worth native followed that up with a hit in the nightcap.
The East Texas Baptist tandem – Lacey Lindsey and Lacy Liles – each had a home run in both games. Their second home runs were grand slams in the nightcap to complete the twinbill sweep.
Game 1
A three-run home run by Liles in the third inning and a solo home run by Lindsey in the fifth inning proved to be the difference for ETBU. Tigers' starting pitcher Shelby Parker struck out 11 in a complete game for the victory.
LeTourneau got on the board in the fifth when Glover hit a solo home run for her second hit of the contest.
Game 2
In the nightcap, it was an eight-run second and a four-run effort in the fourth inning that led the Tigers to a 12-0 win.
