Box Score An eight-run third inning led visiting Louisiana College to an 11-3 win over LeTourneau University in softball action on Saturday afternoon in Longview.

Anna Winter cleared the bases with a two-RBI double. A pair of errors on the play eventually allowed Winter to score on her own hit for the third run.
The Wildcats (12-1, 12-0 ASC) spread 17 hits among eight-different players including Laura Gulotta-Parrish, who went 4-for-4. Plus, Meagan Pearson and Sandy Ouchley each had three hits and Kimber Gruehl had three RBI to pace the attack.
Louisiana College starting pitcher Taylor Leger tossed the opening 2.2 en route to the win. In relief, Nancy Bunting held the
YellowJackets to a pair of hits in the 4.1 innings. Offensively, LC added an additional run in the sixth and two more in the seventh.
Next, LeTourneau will travel to East Texas Baptist for a three-game series with action getting underway on Friday, Mar. 14 at 5 p.m.Â
