Years at LETU: 2009-2013

Where do you live now? Houston, Texas

Favorite Memory of LETU: Being a Division III athlete I loved the opportunity it gave me to be involved not only in sports, but also heavily involved in the community that LETU has to offer. All of the memories, friends, and relationships I created throughout my four years attending LETU helped make my experience here memorable. I would encourage any potential student athlete to attend LETU because the of the opportunity to not only play the sport that you love and get a great education, but also having the opportunity to be involved in the tight knit community at LETU.

Professors/coaches/administrators/staff that had impact on you?  Why?
At LETU the people that made the most impact in my time there would have to be: Dr. Karen Jacobs, Coach Markeith Brown, Mike VanBrocklin, Brenda Thomas, Dr. Dale Lunsford, Dr. Trogdon, and Lawrence from Bon Appetit. Lawrence is the Women's Basketball Team biggest fan and was at every single home game during all four years attending LETU no matter the outcome. Dr. Trogdon and Dr. Karen Jacobs are two of the professors that helped guide me freshmen year to senior year during my undergrad. Mike VanBrocklin helped get me to LETU in the first place through financial aid and was always there when I needed to talk about school or basketball. Ms. Brenda Thomas was my third coach at LETU and we talked everything from basketball to real life situations. Coach Brown was not only my coach on the court, but also played a coaching role in my life off the court.  Dr. Dale Lunsford not only taught me in one of my classes, but also took a personal interest in the WBB and was behind us win or loss. All of these people impacted my life at LETU and I would never forget them. I am so thankful for their help and guidance.
