CONWAY, Ark. --
Kylie Weeks and
Mariana Espinosa represented LeTourneau women's basketball on the 2025-26 All-SCAC women's basketball selections, the league announced Saturday at the conference tournament in Conway.
Weeks collected All-SCAC third team honors, while Espinosa earned honorable mention.
All-SCAC teams were voted on exclusively by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
Weeks, a senior from Houston, Texas, led the YellowJackets in scoring with a career-high 11.5 points per game. This mark ranked top 15 in the conference. Weeks added averages of 2.4 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and her mark of 88 percent at the charity stripe was a program record and ranked second in the conference. Weeks produced 15 double-digit scoring performances this season, and hit a season-high of 20 points in a win over Centenary (Jan. 2). The senior led the Jackets with 33.2 minutes played per game, and made four triples three times this season.
The senior was a force on the defensive end of the court, averaging 3.2 steals per game -- including 2.9 per game in conference play -- leading the SCAC in the category. Weeks' defensive presence was recognized by the conference as well, collecting a pair of votes for the Defensive Player of the Year award. The senior had seven games feature four-plus steals, including three in which she recorded six steals.
Espinosa -- a junior from Olmito, Texas -- followed right behind in scoring with 11.3 points per game. The junior averaged a career-high 5.6 rebounds per game, along with 3.1 assists per game. Her 6.2 rebounds per game in conference play ranked sixth in the SCAC. Espinosa had a team-high 18 double-digit scoring outbursts, collecting a season-best 18 in the season opener at Howard Payne (Nov. 11). The junior recorded three double-doubles on the year, with a career-high 16 rebounds in a win over Centenary on Jan. 2.
This is the second all-conference nod for both Weeks and Espinosa in their respective careers.
