Box Score A hat trick by Morgan Monzingo propelled host UT Tyler to a 5-0 win over the LeTourneau University women's soccer team on Saturday.
 
The YellowJackets (3-4-1, 0-1 ASC) had three shots and junior goalkeeper Jamie Aguillen had eight saves in the loss. Sophomore Raylene Gould accounted for two of the three shots for LeTourneau
 
The Patriots (5-1, 1-0 ASC) went ahead on two first half goals by Monzingo for a 2-0 halftime lead. She added her third goal of the contest in the 49^th minute for the hat trick.
 
Later in the contest, UT Tyler extended its lead with goals in the 76^th minute by Lindsey Halbrook and 89^th minute by Caitlyn Mortus for the final margin. Goalkeeper Paige Harris made a pair of saves for the shutout.
 
The next contest for the YellowJackets is a 5 p.m. matchup against UT Dallas in Richardson on Thursday, Oct. 2.
