Box Score The No. 12 UT Tyler women's soccer team scored three times in the first half and added two more in the second half to a 5-0 win over LeTourneau University on Thursday night at the Citizens 1^st Bank – Perkins Soccer Complex in Tyler.

The nationally-ranked Patriots (8-0-1, 3-0 ASC) broke into the scoring ledger when Melissa Miller crossed in a shot that was deflected by the LETU goalkeeper into the back of the net in the 10^th minute. Miller added an insurance tally in the 58^th minute for UT Tyler. The host Patriots stretched the lead when Morgan Monzingo and Caitlyn Mortus scored in the 25^th and 36^th minute, respectively. The other goal came for UTT when Nikki Gordon scored in the 50^th minute.
 
LeTourneau (4-4, 2-1 ASC) goalkeepers Bridey Davis and Brittany Hollis each played 45 minutes and teamed up to make nine saves in the contest. Davis made seven saves in the first 45 minutes; meanwhile, Hollis had a pair in the second 45 minutes. LETU juniors Raylene Gould and Stephanie Vana accounted for the three shots in the loss.
 
The YellowJackets will next travel to Clarksville, Arkansas to face University of the Ozarks on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 12:30 p.m.
