LeTourneau women's golf played their first match play event of the season and defeated Louisiana College convincingly at Pinecrest Country Club on Sunday afternoon.
The YellowJackets were led by Faith Williams who defeated LC's Taylor Trahan 10&8.
Alisa Wilson won her match play 9&7 over Hannah Toups while Melanie Pedigo won 10&8 over Kasey James. Stephanie Starr won 10&8 over Erin Fleming.
Freshman Keilah Williams won by default as Louisiana College did not have a fifth golfer.
The YellowJackets will now play two more rounds at Pinecrest Country Club as they host the Pinecrest Intercollegiate. 37 women from 10 teams will compete on Monday and Tuesday in Longview.
