FRISCO, Texas -- LeTourneau women's golf placed five on the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team and the YellowJackets ranked 23rd in Division III in team GPA, announced the organization.
Halle Carr,
Calli Hoesterey,
Elena Jurado,
Hannah Newell, and
Emerson Swanner all earned All-American Scholar honors. It is the third straight year LeTourneau has placed at least five on the team.
Under head coach
J. Paul Leslie III, LeTourneau ranked 23rd in Division III with a GPA of 3.64 during the entire 2025-26 academic year. It is the fourth straight year that LeTourneau has earned All-Scholar Team honors from the WGCA and ranked inside the top 25 nationally in GPA.
Newell earned All-American Scholar honors for a fourth straight year. The recent graduate was the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award recipient for the sport and earned SCAC Elite 19. Jurado collected accolades for a third time, while Swanner becomes a two-time honoree. Carr and Hoesterey earned honors in their first year.
LeTourneau had eight members of the team earn SCAC Academic Honor Roll and the team was second in the department with a 3.70 GPA during the spring semester. On the course, LeTourneau captured its first conference championship and advanced as a team to its first NCAA Division III Championship appearance.
To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year through the team's conference championship.
