LONGVIEW, Texas - Due to expected rain in the East Texas area on Saturday, the LeTourneau University baseball team has announced schedule changes to this weekend's American Southwest Conference home-opening series against McMurry University. 

The YellowJackets will now play a doubleheader on Friday, with the start time being moved up from 6 p.m. up to 4 p.m. Game one on Friday will be a seven-inning game with game two to follow at approximately 7 p.m. and is scheduled for a nine-inning game. 

Saturday will now feature a single game between the YellowJackets and War Hawks, with first pitch tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. depending on the weather. A final decision on a start time for Saturday will be made either late Friday night or early Saturday morning depending on how quickly the expected weather system moves through the area.
