Box Score SHERMAN, Texas – LETU erupts for 12 runs in the fourth en route to an 18-4 victory at Baker Field Tuesday.
The YellowJackets improved to 2-5, while Austin dropped to 0-3.
After the first seven batters were set down to begin the game, LETU exploded with six hits and 12 of the next 16 hitters scoring.
In the fourth, the YellowJackets completed the third trip through the lineup, sending 10 men to the dish, with five crossing on five hits and capitalizing on a pair of miscues by the Kangaroos.
Senior
Cameron Pfafman tallied four of LETU's 17 hits, with a double and driving in three runs in five at-bats. Sophomore
Cody Stanley went 3 for four, with a double and scoring four runs.

Ethan Wood tallied two hits each.
Anthony Ybarra and
Hunter Miller registered a knock a piece.
Freshman
Landon Stocks tossed 5.0 scoreless innings in his collegiate debut, surrendering two hits, two walks and striking out five.
The 'Roos pushed across four runs in the sixth, but
William Bond,
Landry Suarez and
Kyle Maysonave combined to register the final 10 outs, allowing one hit each. Bond surrendered a base-on-balls, one run and fanned one in 1.1 innings of work. Suarez fanned one and issued a free pass in a scoreless eighth. Maysonave punched out one and walked two in the final frame
The YellowJackets return to American Southwest Conference play Friday against Belhaven in Jackson, Mississippi, at 6 p.m.
