Box Score 2 SEGUIN, Texas – LETU softball dropped a pair of games Monday to No. 1 nationally ranked Texas Lutheran.
The YellowJackets (4-11) fell in the first game, 6-1. The Bulldogs (16-3) beat LeTourneau in the second contest, 10-0.

Macy Clevenger in for a score, cutting the Texas Lutheran deficit to one.
The Bulldogs would go on to score one run in each of its last four innings at the plate, while holding LeTourneau to zero runs to run away from the YellowJackets.
Clevenger led LETU at the plate going 2-3.

Kylie Grisham, and
Madelyn Tannery each posted a hit in the first contest.
Laney Taylor took the loss in game one, carrying the load in the circle with six innings pitched and three strikeouts.
In the second game, the Bulldogs had put distance between them and the Jackets midway through, putting together a four run inning in the third to take 5-0 lead.
The No. 1 team in the country would add five more runs to ensure the victory over LETU.
Turney and Tannery collected the lone two hits for the YellowJackets. Torres marked the loss in the circle for LeTourneau, pitching three innings with one strikeout.
LETU returns to the field Tuesday as it heads to San Antonio for a doubleheader matchup against Trinity, beginning at 5 p.m.
